we are proud to announve that the release party of the limited 12" vinyl edition of "poet with a punk's heart" will take place on january 8th 2009 at club ost in vienna. open doors will be at 21:00. charge is 10€.I will perform together with my band (ben martin - guitars, keys and backing vocals, stefan fallman - bass & mario lackner - drums and backing vocals aka "the brides" or "the beautiful weekends" or "the bonfires"...). there will be 2 live sets containing some of my "wedding songs", some bonfire songs and some brand-new material from my upcoming album "the weekend starts on wednesday". we do hope to see you all there at the wonderful club ost!

thanks to the planetary group for again a great job - after the first week of the six-week campaign for my bonfire music album "poet with a punk's heart" numerous radio stations have already added it for rotation!

oh, what a great week - my upcoming album "the weekend starts on wednesday" was mixed last week on a 75 made API console by mike harrison. big thanks to mike for his respect, patience and the shared passion for the "old school" mixing, which means - no total recall and everything on the console. it was the right decision. what an experience!

yesterday I met mike harrison who will be mixing my upcoming release "the weekend starts on wednesday" in late october. awesome studio (75 made API console...and much more...) and a great guy with the right taste - has just finished recording the drum library of and with steve ferrone (drummer of tom petty)...I'm really looking forward to this - it's gonna be great fun...

my new and very first bonfire music album "poet with a punk's heart" will be out on october 27th 2008. it will be available as 12" limited vinyl edition and worldwide on itunes and cd baby.
fyi: due to some severe troubles during the process of production and pressing I postponed the release of my new baby to fall 2008.

hard to believe but true! now after months of airplay and rotation in the usa, the main radio station here in my home-country of austria added some wedding songs and the brand-new single "johnny & mary" to their playlist. big thanks to eberhard forcher, his support and taste.
